The Refined Collection

Our Refined Collection represents five generations of the Viberg family shoemaking tradition. This collection celebrates iconic traditionally made silhouettes, crafted through our family’s long tradition of producing footwear made for hard work, outside. The finished product showcases sophisticated utility, featuring versatile styles that can be worn day in and day out.

Annonay French Calf

Founded in 1838, Tannerie d’Annonay has spent nearly two centuries pursuing excellence in tanning calfskin. They are renowned worldwide for traditional classic calf - used for the highest quality leather goods, as well as smart-casual and dress footwear. Select French calfskins are processed from their raw state, into fully finished aniline calf, in a wide range of glazed and burnishable prints.

Goodyear Welt Construction

During the late 1960s, we began to innovate beyond nailed-down construction, by introducing Channeled Insole Goodyear Welt Construction to our line of industry-focused footwear. We believe this to be the purest form of traditional Goodyear Welted shoemaking techniques, as it shares very similar properties to hand-welted footwear. The first welted products we produced were a Western Boot and Hiker Boot. Over the course of a decade, we slowly sourced the same machinery that had been used in our workshop 60 years ago, to allow us to produce Goodyear Welted footwear with heavy-channeled insoles.
